The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, Drawings, specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations: Department of Public Works 4876 Hwy 1 Mathews, La. 70375 Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of HIGHWAY, STREET, AND BRIDGES. The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law. Lafourche Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Louisiana State Bid Law. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Lafourche Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
