The purpose of this solicitation is to provide solid waste disposal services to thirty-three (33) locations within Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), District Five. Service will include provision of container(s), waste pickup, waste transport to landfill and waste disposal at each location listed below. Recycling services are not required. Bids will be flat rate to include hauling, disposal, fuel and environmental charges, and any other fees or charges that may be applicable. Invoicing will be on a monthly basis after services have been rendered. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to a building or other property caused by workers while performing the work indicated in these specifications. The Contractor is responsible for the care and maintenance of all containers under this contract. Any container that becomes unfit for refuse storage, or loses its protection against vermin, shall be replace at no cost to the District. The District shall notify the Contractor of the need for replacement of any unsatisfactory container. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to pay all costs incurred from a cleanup associated with an environmental hazard created by way of release, spill, leak or other means of contamination caused by accident or negligence. To be considered for award you must bid on each location within an Area. One contract will be awarded per Area, you may bid on multiple Areas. This will be a multiple award.
