The City of Aurora, Illinois (City) is in need of professional services from a qualified engineering firm for Phase 2 Engineering Services for the extension of Commons Drive between Ogden Avenue (US Route 34) and 75th Street (DuPage County Highway 33). As part of the selection process, the interested consultants are required to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the requested work. Current Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) prequalification status. All questions must be received by 5:00 pm (CST) on Thursday, August 27, 2020. A response to all questions received will be posted on the City by 5:00 pm (CST) on Monday, August 31, 2020. The SOQ and any questions shall be addressed to Mark Phipps, P.E., Engineering Coordinator, City of Aurora, Engineering Division, 77 S. Broadway, Aurora, IL 60507, at mphipps@aurorail.org. Any SOQ received after the above noted deadline may not be used as part of the consultant selection process. The City anticipates giving the selected consultant notice to proceed on October 28, 2020. The City of Aurora reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this consultant procurement process, to reject any or all SOQ's, or to accept an alternative SOQ. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
