Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Aurora reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect in any submittal, or technicality, informality or irregularity in the SOQs received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional submittals. Questions will be accepted until, 12:00 p.m. CST, Friday, October 13, 2023. Questions will be answered via addendum and posted to the City website at electronically no later than 5:00 p.m. CST, Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The City of Aurora is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional design firms interested in providing complete design services for the construction of a new skatepark in the 14,500 SF parcel located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Cross Street and IL Route 31 (Lake Street) in downtown Aurora. As of May 7, 2024, project has been awarded.
