Site work for a water / sewer project in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of excavation of eroded streambank, and installation of rock bank protection, granite cobble and stone placement, willow staking and wetland plug installation, and all necessary site restoration. Questions shall be directed to Matt Adams at madams@dupageforest.org or 630-871-6424 All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. No late bids will be accepted. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide by the employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7). Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
