Bidders are encouraged to utilize delivery-receipt and/or read-receipt features to ensure the email is successfully received by the Owner. Bids shall be clearly identified with the email subject "Bid Enclosed Washington Street Stormwater Lift Station". Any bid received after the above stated time will be deleted. Under no circumstance will any bid be accepted by fax or physical mail. There will be no exceptions made for any late, corrupted, lost, undelivered, or misdirected submittals. Bids will be opened electronically with a summary Bid Tabulation emailed to all registered Planholders. The work will include the following: All necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials to replace the existing stormwater pump station on Washington Street and adjacent outfall structure at the Lamar Canal. The stormwater pump station generally consists of a 10'x10'x20' precast concrete triplex pump station with ductile iron pipe (DIP) discharge to the outlet structure. Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the stormwater pump station and outlet structure, including installation of all electrical wiring, control panels, transfer switches, telemetry, all process piping and connections at the stormwater pump station and outlet structure, and completion of all associated site work relating to the stormwater pump station and outlet structure. No Bid will be received unless accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check or a Bid Bond equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted, Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds within ten days after the Notice of Award. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for opening Bids.
