The 2020 Sanitary Sewer CIPP Lining Project (CIP S-37) consists of cleaning, televising, and CIPP lining of approximately 112 linear feet of 30-inch sanitary sewer. This sanitary sewer is located in public right of way perpendicular to Hilliard Rome Road near the intersection of Richlanne Drive. By-pass pumping will be required to install the liner and a temporary pipe crossing installed under the pavement of Hilliard Rome Road and Richlanne Drive is anticipated. Contractor will coordinate with City of Hilliard staff to manage operations of the Heritage 1 Lift Station and Hoffman Farms Lift Station located upstream of the project area. Traffic control will be required to redirect local traffic on Hilliard Rome Road to perform the work. Failure to fully and accurately complete the bid documents shall be considered grounds for rejecting the bid. Prices for labor and materials shall be quoted separately. Engineer's Estimate: $89,065.00 Substantial Completion Date: October 23, 2020 Final Completion Date: November 13, 2020 Bids may be withdrawn at any time before the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but may not be modified and resubmitted. No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the City Engineer's estimate on the base bid by more than ten percent (10%). Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid submitted must be furnished with all bids. If the bid is accepted, a contract must be executed, and a satisfactory contract bond or security furnished, conditioned according to law, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, within ten (10) days after Notice of Award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. An award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, taking into consideration such factors as the qualifications, past performance and efficiency of the bidder along with the price of the bid. Informalities in making out the bid may be waived at the option of the City.
