The Project involves a variety of work to improve the infrastructure of the International Peace Gardens. The International Peace Garden (IPG) is considered a living museum compromised of nearly 2,400 acres of formal gardens, wetlands, lakes, and forests, with approximately 200 buildings on the grounds. IPG is planning to renovate and expand various existing buildings and construct new facilities. The objectives in undertaking this work are to make the IPG a more sustainable operation, enhance the visitor experience, and better attract future private donors to share in the funding provided by the public sector. To accomplish this, the program of work includes over 20 unique projects, some of which include, but are not limited to: -rebuild and expand the Conservatory; -addition of one or more childrens play areas; -infrastructure upgrades; -enhancements to rental facilities; -renovations to the International Music Camp campus.
