**As of October 19, 2020, project has not been awarded. The Project consists of constructing: Contract II - 250,000 Gallon Elevated Tank Repaint. Time allowed for completion of Contract II is 45 consecutive calendar days. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope and mailed to the City of Falmouth, 230 Main Street, Falmouth, KY 41040 allowing sufficient time for such mailing to reach this address prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order 11375, as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed or national origin. Federal law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap, sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex in this project. Title VI Minority firms are particularly encouraged to bid this project. Successful Bidder shall comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set forth therein. Successful Bidder shall make positive efforts to use small, minority, women owned and disadvantaged businesses. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Falmouth in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date bids are opened. The City of Falmouth reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities and any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected.
