The City of Montrose is requesting formal bids through the Invitation for Bid process to rehabilitate gravity sewer lines ranging from 6" to 18" in diameter using the trenchless Cured-In-Place (CIPP) process. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. The project is also bid according to the City of Montrose local preference policy in effect on the date of the bid opening and detailed in the official Municipal Code of the City of Montrose, Section 1-16-4(B). The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the 2020 CIPP Rehabilitation Project in accordance with the project plans. Sample Contract with warranty langue The “2020 CIPP Rehabilitation Project” collectively refers to performing the work outlined in these documents. This work is incorporated in a single project bid form and includes the following key tasks: A. Furnish all materials required to perform CIPP rehabilitation, including but not exclusive to; end joint sealants, service connection joint sealants, liners, fabrics, and resins. B. Provide all required safety equipment for confined space entry. C. Provide all necessary equipment to bypass sewage during rehabilitation. D. Provide all necessary traffic controls as required by the City and MUTCD. E. Cut all currant intruding service connections. F. Obtain all necessary permits to perform the work. G. Where sections of existing pipe are missing, the liner thickness shall be increased to ensure structural integrity
