Update:This project involves construct improvements to the signal system including upgrading the pedestrian signals and realigning sidewalk ramps for ADA compliance. Design will be in FY22 with construction in FY23. Project is included in City of Gaithersburg Fiscal Year 2025-2029 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project involves construct improvements to the signal system including upgrading the pedestrian signals and realigning sidewalk ramps for ADA compliance. Design will be in FY22 with construction in FY23. The project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of February 28, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding and construction are anticipated to take place in fiscal year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
