As of March 14, 2024, the San Francisco Planning Commission has certified the Final Environmental Impact Report and recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve legislative amendments to the General Plan, Planning Code and Zoning Map to enable development of the Project. Legislation is still being considered by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors (BOS) for approval regarding the Project Entitlements, including a Special Use District, General Plan and Zoning Map amendments. The project is currently in the Environmental Review stage. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined, however construction is anticipated from 2024 to 2027. The City and County of San Francisco (City), acting by and through the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is pleased to present these Instructions to Proposers (ITP) as part of the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP seeks competitive Proposals to design, build, finance, and maintain the proposed Potrero Yard Modernization Project (Project) through a joint-development project delivery method. As currently envisioned, the Project would include the construction of a modern bus maintenance and storage facility together with a multifamily residential and commercial project at 2500 Mariposa between 17th, Bryant and Hampshire Streets in the City (Assessor's Parcel Number 3971-001, the Project Site). Proposers are to promptly notify the City, in writing, upon discovery of any ambiguity, discrepancy, omission, or other errors in the RFP.
