Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Andover, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and municipal facility.
The work is estimated to cost $275,000.00 (Base Bid: $200,000.00 Alternate: $75,000.00) The Project consists of: Replacement of membrane and shingle roofing at the North Andover Senior Center Roof as shown on the drawings including new roof insulation, modified bitumen high performance built-up roof system, shingle roofing, fascia and flashing, and miscellaneous repairs. Alternate No. 1 - Single Ply Roof Restoration at the North Andover Town Hall Roof as shown on the Drawings, including surface preparation, membrane & flashing repairs, and application of new Polyurea Coating. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates (Prevailing Wages) as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. All questions by prospective Bidders as to the interpretation of the bid specifications must be received in writing via email to Architect, Raymond T. Guertin at Ray@RTGArchitect.com by 2pm Wednesday, September 2, 2020 General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Roofing. General Bidders must include a current DCAMM Prime Contractor Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Prime Contractor Update Statement. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Town of North Andover. The Town of North Andover reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of North Andover fully complies with federal, state, and local laws and directives governing equal opportunity, affirmative action and nondiscrimination in all Town activities and actively solicits bids/proposals from MBE/WBE businesses in accordance with Town of North Andover policy.
