The City of Plant City, Florida seeks bids to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary for construction of a Dog Park Pedestrian Bridge and Site Improvements. Question & Answer End Date Sep 14, 2020 3:00:00 PM EDT A cashier's check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total price for the work proposed must be included with each bid. Checks or bonds must be made payable to "City of Plant City, Florida". The calculation for the bid bond should be based on the total price as indicated on the Bid Response Form. A Payment and Performance Bond is required for the amount of the contract. Contractor shall be responsible for recording the payment and performance bond before commencing the work, Contractor shall provide to the City Clerk a certified copy of the recorded bond. The time for substantial completion on this project shall be 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The amount of Liquidated Damages shall be $1,045.00 per day from date of substantial completion. 1617756
