Renovation of an educational facility in Cullman, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,935-square-foot educational facility.

Scope of project includes two 20-ton HVAC systems with dehumidification and corresponding electrical upgrade to Gymnasium. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Cullman County Commission on Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Upgrade HVAC & Electrical system to Gymnasium building. Except for work noted "BY OWNER" or "N.I.C." (not in contract) or specifically excluded by the Contract Documents, the work under this Contract includes the work indicated on the Drawings and described in the Project Manual titled Fairview High School Gymnasium HVAC & Electrical Upgrades. PROJECT LOCATION: Located on: 841 Welcome Road, Cullman, Alabama 35058 The Owner has elected to have General Contractors pre-qualified for bidding on this Project. Only general contractors, that have installed two (2) projects of similar scope and magnitude that have been in service for minimum of 2 years with satisfactory performance of the entire system, and who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid for the Project. Accompanying the general contractor's submittal containing the above information will be the AIA Form # A305 - Contractor Qualifications questionnaire and attachments. Written prequalification procedures and criteria are available for review at the office of Leonard Design P.C. 115 Second Avenue NE, Cullman, Alabama. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect (Engineer); the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
