Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newark, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The contract covers the installation of new curb ramps to comply with current ADA standards and City of Newark Standard Specifications All inquiries/requests for information regarding this RFP must be submitted via email to purchasing@newark.de.us by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11. These inquiries will be passed along to relevant staff for their review. Any answers deemed necessary will be provided via addendum prior to the bid opening date Contractor shall commence work on a date to be specified by the City in a written Notice to Proceed and to fully complete all work under this contract 120 days from Notice to Proceed and no later than May 15, 2021. Liquidated damages of two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) per day may be assessed to the Contractor by the City for each day the contract is extended beyond the completion date. Liquidated damages are not to be construed as a penalty in any sense
