The deadline for questions is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposed bid price, payable to the City of Newark. Failure to provide the required bid security may be grounds for rejection of the bid. If a bid bond is submitted, the attached "Bond to Accompany Proposal" form must be completed and issued by a surety licensed to operate in the State of Delaware.
