Site work and paving for a road / highway in Springfield, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Contemplated work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the following work: A. Saw cut and remove additional asphalt, cold mix asphalt, CLSM at crossings, and/or aggregate material from newly constructed waterline trench that varies per drawings. Contractors T-cut saw cuts shall be pursuant to the contract drawings R1 & R2 (per City of Springfield trench T-cut section a foot of undisturbed material shall be maintained on each side of the trench). B. Asphalt shall be placed per plans, specifications, and the City of Springfield. Contractor shall provide AASHTO extraction, gradation, and the RICE testing required by the City of Springfield via a testing agency. C. The successful bidding contractor is responsible for polymerized crack sealing the joints, pavement markings, saw-cutting, concrete curbs/gutter, sidewalk panels, ADA Ramp, concrete around valve cans, soil/seeding behind curbs, and all traffic control, etc. D. A bidder breakdown is provided in specification 00 41 13 - BID PROPOSAL, any items not itemized on the bidder breakdown but that is indicated in the plans, specs and/or traffic control Plans shall be included in the mobilization cost. E. This work is a Prevailing Wage as determined by BOLI. F. Furnishing and installation of all other equipment and all services, materials and labor necessary to complete all concrete, pavement, and miscellaneous site work Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed in favor of Springfield Utility Board in an amount not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to Springfield Utility Board a performance bond and a payment bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors will be required to furnish to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board a public works bond in the amount of $30,000, unless exempt under ORS 279C. Acceptance of bids and award of contract will follow procedures provided by ORS 279C and in accordance with all applicable Springfield Utility Board policies. Springfield Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of Springfield Utility Board. Springfield Utility Board may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so
