For Municipal Complex Facility Project Additional questions should be submitted by interested firms online by September 18, 2020 at 11:00AM EST. The responses to all questions will be provided online by September 23, 2020. Given the current COVID-19 Pandemic, interested firms will be limited to one representative at the pre-proposal conference and site tour. The Township reserves the right to schedule an additional site tour and pre-conference meeting and site tour if needed. Swatara Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, or irregularities to any bid, accept any bid it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all Bids. The Township reserves the right to reduce or eliminate the quantity of work. Clarification Deadline: 9/18/2020 11:00 AM The project's objectives include leveraging information and data from the previously prepared Program / Spatial Needs Assessment for the Administrative and Public Safety Building (see Appendices A) and existing site plan (Appendix B) to develop an expanded needs, use and space analysis for newly constructed buildings and support facilities and/or revisions to the existing municipal building and facilities, a new Public Safety Department (including police, volunteer fire and emergency management services), and new Highway Department. The Township requires the involvement of the municipal Department Managers in the development of the project. The Township wants the existing buildings and newly constructed buildings on the site to have a cohesive architectural appearance.
