Plans call for a $2.28 million sewer project. Per the owner, as of November 17, 2021, a timeline for construction has not been determined. Information regarding a design team is not available. he work has been separated into two groups. A separate contract will be awarded for Group A and Group B. The general nature of the public improvements can be described as follows: Group A includes approximately 700 LF of roadway reconstruction on Audubon Street and South 12th Street. Reconstruction shall include sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, sidewalk and sidewalk ramp improvements. Approximately 700 LF of additional sanitary sewer shall be installed to the south of Audubon Street within an existing drainage ravine. In addition, approximately 4,500 LF of cured-inplace-pipe (CIPP) lining and several sanitary sewer spot repairs are also included throughout the community. Group B includes upgrades to the radio telemetry system between Lift Station #1 and the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility, in addition to SCADA improvements at the wastewater treatment facility. The SCADA improvements shall include incorporation of the lift station telemetry data into the SCADA system, incorporation of the headworks control panel functionality into the SCADA system, and utilization of the aerobic digesters dissolved oxygen probes into the control system of the plant in order to optimize the operation of the aeration blowers.
