Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Anastasia Is, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

The Contractor shall be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment required to renovate the HVAC system at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, located at 1340 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080, for the back of house rooms to separate the systems and rooms to eliminate cross contamination within the rooms from air flow. The work includes removal of the existing HVAC system, installation of new HVAC systems for each room, extension of the walls between the rooms to the ceiling, and installation of any and all associated electrical and associated connections to complete the work. Prime Bidder must be fully licensed to do business in the State of Florida, must hold a current and valid General Contractor's License in Florida, or, between the Prime Bidder and proposed Sub-Contractors, must hold a current and valid HVAC Contractor's License in Florida, an Electrical Contractor's License in Florida, and a Drywall Contractor's License in Florida. Bidders must have successfully completed, as a Prime or Sub-contractor, at least three (3) projects, in the past five (5) years, equal to or greater than the scope and dollar value of that being proposed. Minimum experience requirement may be met by the Prime Bidder and proposed Sub-Contractors. Copies of current licenses and certifications for the Prime Bidder, and Sub-Contractor(s) must be provided with the submitted Bid Proposal. The County's Designated Point of Contact for this Bid is Jaime Locklear, MPA, CPPO, CPPB, Assistant Director of Purchasing and Contracts, St. Johns County Purchasing Department. Any and all questions and/or inquiries shall be directed to Mrs. Locklear, in writing, via email at jlocklear@sjcfl.us. In the event the Designated Point of Contact is absent or otherwise unavailable for more than three (3) business days, firms may contact Leigh A. St. Johns County also reserves the right to award the base bid and any alternate bids in any combination that best suits the needs of the County. The existing walls stop at the underside of the roof purlins so they need to infill the 8" gap between purlins. The existing building has 5 different zones and will be transformed into a total of 8 zones. Demolition: Disconnect existing electrical supply to existing HVAC units. Remove existing HVAC units, air handler and condenser unit, as well as existing ductwork. Framing: Extend the existing framed partition walls up to the roof deck. Install 5/8" gypsum board on each side of wall, tape and finish with a level 4 finish, and paint to match existing color. Provide sealant between gypsum board and roof deck for an air tight finish. Electrical: Provide new electrical supply to re-sized HVAC equipment and to new HVAC equipment. Electrical breakers and wire sizes to match equipment requirements. Existing electrical plan is provided to verify available circuits. Provide a new 150 amp sub-panel off the main switch board to supply the additional HVAC units. Electrical contractor to verify existing conditions and provide a new panel schedule with load calculations. HVAC: Replace existing units with min. 15 SEER Heat pump units. Split systems shall be Carrier. Ductless mini-splits shall be Mitsubishi. The HVAC contractor will be required to submit shop drawings showing equipment, duct sizes, outside air and grills, registers, layout and material. This area is considered a coastal area and should have outdoor equipment with low corrosive parts
