Site work and paving for a civil project in Fruitland Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of November 9, 2020. Project has been awarded. Bid amount received $1,098,793.95. This project consists of the construction of a stormwater retention pond (Pond 4) located off of County Road 466A. The pond is needed to accommodate drainage for County Road 466A which will be widened to a four-lane divided roadway in the near future. Pond size is approximately six acres. Additional drainage improvements include pipe culverts, manholes, and mitered end sections. A 12- foot wide access stabilized and sodded roadway from County Road 466A to the pond is also proposed. The access roadway begins at County Road 466A and extends approximately 700 feet to the south of the roadway. The project scope includes maintenance of traffic, sod, and fencing. Site preparation work includes mobilization, erosion control, and excavation. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee acceptable to the County Attorney, which shall be one of the following; bid bond or letter of credit, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid and made payable to Lake County. Said bid bond or letter of credit shall be a guarantee that should the bid be accepted, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after written notice of the award of the contract, enter into a contract with Lake County for the services proposed to be performed and will at that time furnish an acceptable contract surety. Cash, company or personal checks will not be accepted. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of Lake County, Florida.
