Town of Woodloch CDGB Sanitary Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation ( CDBG Contract No. 7219470) The major items of work include: Manhole Rehab Sanitary sewer rehabilitation by CIPP, Point Repair, or Pipe Bursting. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of Town of Woodloch in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for thefull amount of the contract. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the (Montgomery County) Section 3 Policy is required for contract and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Department of Labor regulations at 41 CFR Part 60-4, relating to Construction Contractors--Affirmative Action Requirements, which include the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order No. 11375 and Executive Order No. 13672 in the award and administration of contracts awarded. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach, which may result in the termination of the awarded financial assistance. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Town of Woodloch reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive informalities in the bidding.
