Attention is called to the fact that not less than those wages listed on the wage rate schedules as adopted by the Pewitt C ISD Board of Tr ustees will be paid on the project. All Contractors shall comply with prevailing wage rates in accordance with the civil statutes of the State of Texas. All contractors must comply with all federal, state, and local labor laws including Art icle 5159a, Vern on's Annotated Revised Civil Statues of the State of Texas which requires that the contractor pay not less than the Prevailing Wage Scale. Contractors shall comply with all aspects of Article 5159a, Vernon's Civil Statue, including keeping records on each laborer, workman, or mechanic employed for each calendar day or portion thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids . The Pewitt Consolidated Independent School District reserves the right to separate or eli minate any item it deems necessary to accommodate budgetary and/or operational requirements. The Pewitt Consolidated Independent School District also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of the bids , and waiver all formalit ies, and to awar d this bid in the best interest of the Pewitt Consolidated Independent School District. The Pewitt Consolidated Independent School District also reserves the right to award to other than the lowest bid der under statutory mandate 271.027(b) Local Government Code. The bid security will not be returned until all bonds are provided. The successful bid ders shall be required to attend the pre - construct ion conference prior to the beginning of the work.
