Site work for a water / sewer project in Clinton, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of approximately 500 LF of 12" HDPE gravity sewer main via pipe burst and open cut methods. Installation of one dog-house manhole, replacement of two brick manholes and rehabilitation of one existing manhole. Installation of one pre-cast concrete pier. Bypass pumping will be required. Work in this section shall consist of furnishing all labor and equipment required to clean existing gravity sanitary sewer mains which are selected for rehabilitation. B. Contractor shall be prepared to completely clean and remove roots from all sanitary sewer mains regardless of the quantity of debris or roots. The Contractor shall utilize equipment appropriate for the size and material type of the pipeline. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining potable water necessary to support cleaning operations. The Contractor shall coordinate with the local water utility and shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The Contractor shall record the quantity (gallons) of daily water used and report such to the Owner and the Engineer on a weekly basis. The Contractor will not be charged for the cost of water if supply is from the Owner's distribution system; all other supply sources will require the Contractor to pay for such at no additional cost to the Owner.
