Site work and paving for a civil project in Clinton, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
All bidders to order Plans and Specs from Summit Engineering Group Inc. to be added the Plan Holders list to ensure all addendums are received. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. The Owner anticipates award of the contract within thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids; however, to allow adequate time for approval, bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids. This project is to be bid as one (1) division of work. The Contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder producing the lowest total bid. The Owner reserves the right to use any combination of base bid and bid alternates in order to determine the lowest total bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject unbalanced bids The project will generally require the following work activities 11 Valve Insertions Repaving of disturbed areas.
