Renovation of a water / sewer project in Troy, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project consists of the removal and rehabilitation of two 55-foot-long screw pumps and installation of a removal system for the motors at the Madison Street Lift Station in Troy, Ohio. All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. This project is part of a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program; therefore, Bidders must comply with Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including Copeland Anti-kickback, Contract Hours and Safety Standards, Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates for Miami County, Ohio, and the President's Executive Order No. 11246 and other Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) provisions. Bidders must comply with Davis Bacon federal prevailing wage rates, submit evident of his experience on projects of similar size and complexity. A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into: 1. A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio, or 2. A certified check, a cashier's check, an Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio. The City of Troy, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City of Troy, Ohio, and to select the best and lowest bid submitted. The City of Troy, Ohio, is in compliance with ADA.
