Work includes: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and disposal as necessary to complete the construction of Retaining Wall at Centennial Park, Coronado, CA. comprising of Steel Soldier Piles with concrete laggings to replace the current failing rip rap wall at Centennial Park. 2. The work shall include, but not limited to, the following as shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications. a. Remove and dispose of existing timber logs and concrete revetment to legal landfill or recycling facility. b. Remove and salvage existing rock revetments. c. Supply and install Steel Soldier Piles with concrete laggings. d. Prepare dewatering plan and obtain the appropriate permit for the required dewatering during the installation Steel Soldier piles. e. Drill 2 diameter holes as shown on the plan to install the Steel Soldier Piles. Casing may be required to maintain a clean hole during the concrete placement. f. Backfill behind the proposed retaining wall as shown on the plan. 3. It is intended that the Work be completed in every respect under the Contract Document, and such items or details not mentioned above or not included in the Bid Schedule that are required by the Contract Documents shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contractor. The total contract duration is 90 calendar days Questions or comments regarding this specification must be submitted electronically to our eBid system where the specification was downloaded and must be received by the Port no later than September 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Questions received after the date stated here will not be accepted.
