IF the District has included additive/deductive alternates which require all bidders to price as part of their bid, the District will utilize the following method to determine the lowest bidder in accordance with Public Contract Code section 20103.8: The lowest bid shall be the lowest bid price on the base contract without consideration of the prices on the additive or deductive items District Contact for this Bid: Ms. Lillie Wister, Director of Construction Services, Facilities, Planning and Construction Department, O: (714) 517-7550, Ext 4320, E-Mail: lwister@aesd.org. Due to current COVID-19 requirements, the District will not be holding a pre-bid conference or site walk; however, will provide representative work via photographs depicting four (4) school sites, with two (2) currently under construction that will be complete and ready for move during Winter 2020. The photographs will be available, for viewing or download at no charge, with the project documents on ARC's website, on September 11, 2020, before 12:00 p.m. (noon). While viewing of the photographs is non-mandatory, the District strongly recommends that bidders view the photographs and submit pre-bid RFI's as stipulated in the bid documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of bids. It is each bidder's sole responsibility to ensure its bid is timely delivered and received at the location designated as specified above. Any bid received at the designated location after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids shall be returned to the bidder unopened.
