Category A: RCC Bridge Replacement - The Successful Proponent will remove the existing pedestrian bridge and construct a new pedestrian bridge in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications at 80 Gould Street, Toronto ON no later than December 1, 2021 in order to bring the Ryerson pedestrian bridge between the Rogers Communications Center and Kerr Hall East into a state of good repair. Category B: JOR Bridge Windows and Masonry - The Successful Proponent will repair the existing JOR pedestrian bridge in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications at 380 Victoria Street, Toronto ON no later than September 1, 2021 in order to bring the Ryerson pedestrian bridge between the Jorgenson Hall and Kerr Hall West into a state of good repair. Category C: LIB Bridge Windows and Masonry - The Successful Proponent will repair the existing LIB pedestrian bridge in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications at 350 Victoria Street, Toronto ON no later than September 1, 2021 in order to bring the Ryerson pedestrian bridge between the Library Building and Kerr Hall West into a state of good repair. Proponents may submit Proposals for one (1) Category or to two (2) Categories or to three (3) Categories. Ryerson will evaluate and award each Category independently. TIMELINE: Request For Proposals to retain a supplier for general contractor services for bridge restoration of three (3) separate projects was cancelled by the owner late 2020. No award was made and the owner has opted not to proceed with this project. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
