Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Brockville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a detention facility.
The Brockville Correctional Complex and St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre (BCC-SLVCTC) Project - delivered under the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) delivery model to the Ministry of the Solicitor General - includes constructing a new 270-bed male correctional facility and expanding the existing St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre (SLVCTC) with 25 new maximum-security and mental-health beds for women on the former Brockville Psychiatric Hospital site. Together totaling approximately 350,000 square feet, the integrated facilities will share staff and amenities and require demolition, site-service replacement, new utilities installation, and associated site improvements.
