Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Athens, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the site development of: Wastewater Treatment Plant & Sanitary Sewer serving Lake View Management and Development District together with all other appurtenant construction for a complete and functional system. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. A two (2) year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required for this project. Lake View Management and Development District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all defects and irregularities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Lake View Management and Development District for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
