Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and library.
This project will complete upgrades to the steam and condensate piping running from the North Campus walkable steam tunnel into and throughout the mechanical rooms of DH Hill Library. The scope includes asbestos abatement of all insulation around existing steam pipe; removal of the 30 psi steam pipe and associated condensate pipe inside the building; relocation of an existing Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) station; excavation of the area over the trench located south of the Atrium; installation of new 150 psi steam pipe and condensate pipe; installation of new structural supports including anchors and guides for the steam and condensate lines; installation of new insulation around the new 150 psi steam pipe; building and installation of new PRV stations in the mechanical rooms to convert the incoming 150 psi steam to 30 psi steam CO ID# 18-19647-01B The scope of work for the Steam Phase VIII Leg C II Project includes new steam and condensate piping in the steam tunnel. This project will include all site work and grading, paving, the installation of piping along with associated pumps, equipment, piping, and valves. Refer to documents for full scope.
