Contractor Awarded Address: Birmingham, AL USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $25645906.00 The work includes the demolition of existing taxiway that the Air National Guard Alert Crew currently uses and clearing of any trees/grass/swales/ditches, and an asphalt service road used by the MSA to deliver weapons for the mission. A portion of the existing haul road will be demolished and removed. The remaining portion will still be utilized for weapons delivery. The site consists of two Alert Alert Aircraft Shelters which will shelter four (4) aircraft with supporting parking apron for two additional aircraft, a peripheral taxi-lane, and two access points to the existing taxiway. In addition, there is a Crew Quarters Facility with a GOV parking area (10 spaces), and Entry Control Facility with a POV parking area (17 spaces), and access drive through the primary controlled gate and a secondary access drive and controlled gate for MSA use only.
