Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and swimming pool.

The project work is comprised of demolition, removal and disposal of the existing wading pool and equipment complete at William L. Besse Municipal Park, installation of a new spray pad, decking, fencing, access drive, pavements, associated landscaping and miscellaneous site features. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid. A performance, labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or; to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest. All bids will be considered valid for a period of ninety (90) days.
