Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The construction of the Group 3B Lift Station Improvements Casa De Contera (PS 64) and Island South (PS 57) project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for improvements to the titled lift stations located in St Augustine, FL. Work will generally include bypass pumping, demolition, relining existing wet wells and manhole, cured-in-place pipe lining, new wet well top and hatch, new submersible pumps, new force main piping, valves, and appurtenances and connection to existing force main, electrical and instrumentation, coordination with FPL electrical utility company, fencing, and site work. All work shall be bid and performed specifically in accordance with the plans and specifications. A detailed scope of work including bid items and allowances can be found in the bid documents. Prime bidder must be fully licensed to do business in the State of Florida and hold a current Certified General Contractor's license at the time the bid is due. Prime or Sub-contractor performing underground utility work shall be fully licensed to do business in the State of Florida and hold a current Certified Underground Utility Contractor's license. Bidders must have successfully completed, as a Prime or Sub-contractor, at least three (3) projects, in the past five (5) years, of similar type, size and dollar value of the project described herein. In the event the Designated Point of Contact is absent or otherwise unavailable for more than three (3) business days, firms may contact Leigh Daniels, CPPB, Procurement Supervisor at ldaniels@sjcfl.us. Questions are due no later than four o'clock (4:00 pm) on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 so that any necessary addenda may be issued in a timely manner. Any questions received after the deadline will not be answered unless previously approved by the SJC Purchasing Manager or other designated County Representative. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor formalities, and to award the bid/proposal that best serves the interests of St. Johns County. St. Johns County also reserves the right to award the base bid and any alternate bids in any combination that best suits the needs of the County.
