Each bid must be made on the Proposal Form provided in the set of specifications and must be accompanied by a bank or cashier's check or money order drawn on a solvent bank in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid or a bid bond also in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a surety bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid will be furnished. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to the Village of Moreland Hills, Ohio. Bids will be opened and read at the time and place stated above. Those who have submitted Proposals or their representatives are invited to attend. The regulations of the State of Ohio relative to the procurement of labor, wage rates and hours of employment shall apply. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Moreland Hills to do so. The project consists of replacement of existing storm sewer, installation of new storm sewers and catch basins, manholes, installation of paved ditches, curb and pavement replacement, culvert lining and placement of concrete invert. Project award will be on October 14, 2020. Location #4 - 5 River Stone Drive shall be substantially complete by November 13, 2020. Location #5 - Chagrin River Road/Chagrin Boulevard shall be substantially complete by November 27, 2020. Note- Concrete cap on pavement may be required. Locations #2 and 3 - 35/45 and 40/50 Fox Glen Drive shall be substantially complete by December 11,2020 The work at the remaining location shall be completed by April 12, 2021
