Site work for a development in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

Warren County Port Commission will receive sealed bids for the removal of biosolids from an inactive aerated lagoon cell and disposal through land application at designated locations on the Ceres Industrial Interplex site. Award will be made to the lowest, best and most responsive and responsible bidder. Biological solids are present in a 10 million gallon lagoon at an approximate depth of 6 ft in a water depth of 14 ft. Disposal of biosolids shall be conducted in accordance with a Land Application Plan prepared by the Owner's Engineer, as approved by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. Solids removal shall conclude when the average solids depth remaining in the lagoon is 6 inches or less. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable without condition to Warren County Port Commission or a bid bond of an amount not less than (5%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and the performance of the contract properly secured. All contractors responding to this advertisement for bids must comply with all applicable requirements of Chapters 3 and 5 of Title 31 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended, including, but not limited to, the requirements relative to holding a Certificate of Responsibility and payment of a special privilege tax both items administered by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract, pursuant to the requirements of Section 31-5-51 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled date and time of the opening of bids without the written consent of the Warren County Port Commission. Within the limitations of the state law, the Warren County Port Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid that is deemed most favorable to the Warren County Port Commission.
