Renovation of an educational facility in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Cornell University is seeking proposals from consultants to provide complete design, bid administration and construction administration services for the replacement of two asphalt shingle roofs. Design and replace the roofs at Jordan and Sturtevant Halls which includes asphalt shingles and a flat section of modified bitumen. Both roofs are leaking and at the end of their lives. Scope includes safely and effectively removing and replacing the existing roofing with a roof system with a 30-year life. Scheduling is limited to summer months. Asbestos testing will be required. Scope of Services The services indicated below shall include, but not be limited to: Complete condition assessment and code analysis of each system Design recommendations Opinion of probable construction costs Anticipated construction schedule Complete construction documents and specifications Bid phase and Construction administration Time of Completion Schedule Estimated Completion Date: 10/31/2021 CR Number: 2068646 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 7% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 13% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% If inquiries regarding the project are received, all answers given will be posted at online. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
