The project entails preparing the existing Cemetery drives pavement surface, preleveling of full depth repairs, placement of 1-1/2" (nominal thickness) of ODOT Item 448 Type 2 leveling course to blend pavement repairs, seams and tire ruts and placement of 1" of ODOT Item 448 Type 1 surface course. . Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the highest of any base bid plus all additive alternatives submitted by the bidder drawn in favor of the Bainbridge Township Trustees or a bid bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the highest of any base bid plus all additive alternatives submitted by the bidder as set forth in the Ohio Revised Code. The Fiscal Officer will retain the bid guarantee of the lowest two (2) bidders until a contract is entered into, and secured by a performance bond of 100% of the amount of the contract, with a surety for the faithful performance of the work. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. Successful bidders shall conform to the "Schedule of Prevailing Wages" for Geauga County. The Owner reserves the right to accept a part or all of any bid and to reject any and all parts of any and all bids. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $99,357.50.
