Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of November 03, 2020, project has not been awarded. Project will go to board meeting in November 05th, 2020 for award recommendation to the apparent low bidder which is Silicon Valley Paving $614,210.00.** The Project consists of: Fire lane asphalt repaving, repair and resurface existing tennis courts. California contractors' license(s) required to bid and throughout Contract term: A or C12. Bidder must be and remain registered throughout Contract term as a public works contractor with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR"). Bidders must provide a bid bond by an admitted surety on the District provided form, cash, or cashier's or certified check payable to District equal to 10% of the total base bid price and all allowances guaranteeing Bidder will enter into a contract with District within seven calendar days (cds) after the Notice of Award date. RFI Deadline: 5:00pm on September 29, 2020. Bidder awarded Contract must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful Bidder may substitute securities pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300. The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall pay all workers not less than the general prevailing wage rate as determined by the DIR for work performed and Project locality.(Labor Code 1770, et seq.) This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR (Labor Code 1771.4) and California Code of Regulations, Title 8. The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall furnish electronic certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner weekly and within 10 cds of the District's or the Labor Commissioner's request. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Labor Code 1720-1861. The District will award the Contract, if at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: A. The base bid amount only District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any bid irregularity. Unsuccessful bidder(s) security will be returned within 60 cds from the award date. Unless otherwise legally required, Bids must remain open 90 cds after the bid opening date.
