The City of San Bruno, through the Public Works Department, is soliciting proposals to provide scheduled generator maintenance and emergency repair at City's building facilities and pump stations. The Contractor must be able to respond to emergency repairs within 24 hours and within 48 hours for non-emergency repairs. Primary maintenance and service includes the following: inspections, testing, repairs and emergency services. All services performed will be to ensure that the City's generators are operating efficiently and effectively according to the manufacturer's standards. The contract would include both scheduled as well as "as needed" and emergency basis maintenance and service. The contract will provide for periodic inspections, testing, minor/major repair and modifications of specified and other associated equipment to keep the emergency generators operational to the required performance levels as designed by the original equipment manufacturer. It is the intent of the City to award an Agreement with a one (1) year base term with four (4) one year options, for a total of five (5) terms. Estimated yearly maintenance costs are expected in the range of $5,000 - $50,000. A California Class C10 contractor's license is required. Contractor must also be licensed pursuant to state law and registered to do business in the City of San Bruno. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. This work is subject to prevailing wage. The Contractor shall comply with all California State laws relating to employment and wages. The hourly wages to be paid laborers, workers, or mechanics shall not be less than the prevailing rates for an hour's work in the same trade or occupation in San Mateo County.
