Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in San Antonio, Texas. Working plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from interested Design-Build (DB) firms to design and construct one (1) new operations center including the associated remediation and demolition of an existing building and site elements of the existing Northeast Operations Center (NEOC), which comprise SAWS' Northeast Operations Center Design-Build Project. The new Operations Center will not only serve as office space for field operations staff, but also function as a dispatch center for various types of work crews. This request for qualifications (RFQ) invites Respondents to submit SOQs describing in detail their technical and financial qualifications to serve as the DB firm for the Project. For questions regarding this solicitation, non-technical questions or additional information, please contact Florinda Gonzales, Interim Contract Administrator, in writing via email to: florinda.gonzales@saws.org or by fax to (210) 233-4290 until 4:00 PM (CT) on October 1, 2020. Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on October 6, 2020 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Receipt of Written Questions Due March 19, 2021 by 4:00 p.m.
