Renovation of an educational facility in River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general the work consists of replacing 26,000 square foot of ballasted, 45 mil Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) with new fully adhered 60 mil EPDM membranes and completes all other associated ancillary work to maintain the building envelope integrity and prevent damage to the building and its contents. Roofing work must be coordinated around electrical conduits run across the roofing surface, mechanical equipment curbs, and other roof penetrations to remain and to be removed. The replacement membrane roofing system will use new insulation to achieve an average of R25 insulation value. Roof counter flashings and metal roof edges will be replaced as required Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Estimate Construction Cost 410,000 The MEP Subcontractor scope of work is identical to the General Prime Contractor scope of work included in these bidding and contract documents. By submitting and signing a bid, all bidders have examined all of the Bidding Documents listed in the Table of Contents of the project specifications. The successful bidders will be required to do all work which is shown on the drawings, mentioned in the specifications, or reasonably implied as necessary to complete the division of work bid for this project.
