Site work for a civil project in Naples, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
2010.01 FORGE understands the site elevation currently ranges from approximately +11.5- to +13.0-feet North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88). Additionally, we assume the new pipeline will be constructed mainly with open trench methods and the pipeline invert will be approximately 5-feet below the existing site grade (approximately elevation of +7.0-feet NAVD 88). Shallow caprock may be encountered during the pipeline utility installation portion of the project, so Collier County has requested geotechnical work before the project goes to bid to provide information of the relative depth and hardness of the caprock at several locations within the vicinity of the proposed pipeline.
