The Town of Cochrane’s West Valley Syphon is a critical piece of infrastructure in the sanitary sewer system, conveying approximately half of the Town’s wastewater with flow rates ranging anywhere from 40-75 L/s. The work will consist of bypassing wastewater flows to maintain service while flushing the existing syphon, installation of three manholes above the existing sanitary main with valves and quick connect couplers to allow for future servicing of the syphon.
