This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Town of Cochrane ("the Town") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Forestry Consultant for a FRIAA FireSmart Vegetation Management Project which includes contract field supervision, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Town is requesting detailed submissions from qualified and experienced proponents to provide Forestry Consultant services for the execution and supervision of a FireSmart vegetation management project within Town Limits. The Deliverables will be broken down into two stages for a total of 15.70 hectares of vegetation management. The Town requires stage one Deliverables to be completed by December 2024 and stage two Deliverables to be completed by December 2025. The Term of the Agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favor of the Town to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 (2) years in one (1) year increments at the Town's sole discretion. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
