The project is for the mowing and trimming of private and/or public lots; the removal and disposal of trash, debris, tires, appliances, fluids, as identified on the work order; the securing of structures; tree and brush removal; clearing of property; trenching, construction of earthen barriers, fences, backfilling, draining swimming pools and other sources of stagnant water entrapment on private and/or public land as needed. The work under this contract shall be performed within the corporate limits of the City of Broken Arrow or upon other properties that might be owned by the City, at the unit price bid for each work item completed. The work will be accomplished by the issuance of individual work orders which will define the property or properties and work items to be performed. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the City of Broken Arrow. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by City of Broken Arrow in the amounts equal to the Contract price. The acceptance and award of this Bid will be considered by the Broken Arrow City Council. The City of Broken Arrow reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to City of Broken Arrow. Applicable additive alternates, if any, will be determined at the City of Broken Arrow's discretion. The lowest responsible Bidder will be notified within ten (10) working days of the Bid opening as to when this Public Construction Contract will be placed on the Broken Arrow City Council Agenda for consideration.
