The engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the four project contracts are as follow: Contract 1 - 26 million Contract 2 - 6 million Contract 3 - 0.75 million Contract 4 - 0.5 million Contract 1 - General Construction Contract 2 - Electrical Construction Contract 3 - Mechanical - Heating and Ventilating Construction Contract 4 - Plumbing Construction The project includes but not limited to General, Civil, Structural, Architectural, Process, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing upgrades to the MSANK Wastewater Treatment Plant. All participants will be subject to MSANKs COVID-19 mask and temperature monitoring requirements to participate in the Pre-Bid conference. Four (4) Contracts will be awarded for this work: l Contract 1 General Construction l Contract 2 Electrical Construction l Contract 3 Mechanical Heating and Ventilating Construction l Contract 4 Plumbing Construction. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash or by certified check or Bidder's Bond in favor of MSANK in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Proposal, as evidence the Bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the Contract in case of award. The Successful Bidder will be required to enter into a Contract with MSANK and to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the full amount of their Bid. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 90 days after the actual date of opening thereof. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of the authorities having jurisdiction over the work shall apply to the Contract throughout. Bidders will be required to execute a Non-Collusion Affidavit and submit it with their Bids. The Successful Bidders will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local Laws and Regulations governing prevailing wage determination and fair employment practices which may be applicable to this Contract. MSANK reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all Bids. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE December 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm. All questions about the contract documents shall be submitted online via the PennBid website by November 20, 2020 4:00 PM EST. The project site is located near the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 56 and Logans Ferry Road in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
