The Construction Managers, on behalf of the Hartford School Building Committee and ARCADIS/O&G/C&R Program Management, will receive pre-qualification statements for minority and women business enterprises (MWBEs) desiring to qualify for certain work on the construction of public school projects in Hartford which will go to bid during Spring/Summer 2021 and thereafter. Successful applicants will be eligible to participate in the Program for a period of three (3) years (through October 30, 2023).At least 20% of the total construction cost for each of the above referenced projects has been designated for eligible and qualified MWBEs. Those MWBEs desiring to furnish materials or services under contract directly with each Construction Manager must first pre-qualify for each project pursuant to this RFQ and be certified or become certified as an MWBE under Hartford Municipal Code 2-660 et. Seq. and other corresponding City of Hartford regulations and procedures prior to the bid release date. Pre-qualified MWBEs for a specific project will be eligible to submit a price proposal to the Construction Manager for specific MWBE bid packages to be determined in the future. Pre-qualification shall in no way assure or guarantee any MWBE that it will be invited to bid on a project or that if invited, that it will be awarded a contract. Successful applicants will be eligible to participate in the Program for a period of three (3) years (through October 30, 2023). Late submissions will NOT be considered. No oral or incomplete pre-qualification statements will be considered. The Hartford School Building Committee or its designee, reserves the right to reject any and all pre-qualification statements or to waive any informalities, irregularities, omissions, or technical defects in the pre-qualification statements or process.
